Achieving the right hair and make-up for your wedding day is one of the most important things to get right, you would have put so much effort into everything else and you will be looking back at your pictures for a life time. Hiring a professional make-up artist is a great way of getting expert advice and guidance on style and application. You want to look your best and this would ensure you do. When make-up is applied professionally it looks amazing in real life and in photographs, and more importantly it lasts a long time on the skin.

A lot of people ask if they need to wear a lot of make-up because of the photography and I would say whenever someone is having a picture taken just turning your make-up up a notch is all you need. Make sure just enough make-up is applied to ensure luminous skin bright eyes, groomed brows, highlighted glowing cheeks, giving you a lovely healthy look, long natural beautiful looking lashes and beautiful soft lustre looking lips. The person who wears the most minimal make-up will still look and feel great with these basic musts. Always define your eye's but use soft colours and line eye's with a medium charcoal colour or navy as this is a much better alternative to black, which when you are wearing white or ivory is a much better choice.

Lighting also plays a part in how you look in a photo. Softer light is much better, but when in daylight you definitely need some make-up, but again don't over do it. Flash photography tends to emphasise pink tones so a yellow-based foundation and powder is better. Also some foundations contain titanium dioxide, a sun filter, that can sometimes look ashy on the skin so it's probably best to avoid these.

The process begins with a consultation either at your home or a proffered place of your choice. We will go over questions like the style and colour choices for your wedding, including your dress which is the most important thing and other factors like bridesmaids dresses, flowers and the type of wedding you are having, all playing an important role in how you look.

In this first meeting there is no time limit to how long I am with you. You are also free to ask me any other questions or queries you may have. I like to go through skincare with you as well as I said earlier, this plays an important role in preparing your skin for the big day and ensuring your skin is looking it's best. Also if you have any specific worries or concerns about anything I will be able to help.
